Pain grows inside of me, and

people always yelling
telling you what you can never do.
Parents that do not listen
always get repaid
fathers that go missin' start wishin' that they had stayed.
When the chance I take
becomes the choice I make
and it's up to no one except me
my future lies
in child eyes, and
the girl inside wants to hide all the pain and tears.
Wanting love
and wanting to be strong
wanting to take off the load she's been dragging along
in everything bad
there comes something good
it may seem crazy and never be understood.
